The Girl Scouts Troop collaborated with Social Edge to present their aMAZE friendship journey findings to an audience at the City of Dublin’s Youth Advisory Committee’s Mental Health Panel. They discussed various topics: relational aggression, cancel culture, authentic friendships, peer pressure, and assertive communication
Our Social Edge Ambassadors asked the audience questions related to:
- Relational Aggression
- Cancel Culture (what is it? why does it happen? who does it impact)
- Assertive communication (vs. aggressive or passive)
- Red, Yellow, Green Light Friendships
- Peer Pressure (positive vs. negative)
- and much more!
In this interactive session, the audience was asked to share what they knew about the topic, and if they had experienced it or witnessed it before. They were then asked multiple choice questions related to the topic to further their understanding of the topic!
